Hello Peevers!

In honour of the 2022 winter Olympics in Beijing, we thought it would be fun to discuss certain aspects of the Olympics in general, including both summer and winter games. But to start, it must be stated that we are avid sports fans and thoroughly enjoy the Olympics. Our peeves do not take away from our love of the games. So lace up your skates, throw on your spandex, do your pre-game mediation, and loosen up for your triple axel - it's Olympic peeving time.

Hey, Pet Peevers!

We thought it would be fun to visit the very broad topic of certain decades from time to time, and this go around we chose the 1990's. We are both children of the 90's and admit to loving the decade, generally speaking, although mainly due to nostalgia. We are aware that there were many irritating things that occurred throughout this particular decade and we are here to tear it all apart. So grab those fanny packs, strap them around your insanely baggy jeans that are far below your waistline, frost those tips, light up a cigarette indoors, and sit around a scheduled television program with your family as we list off our pet peeves of the 1990's.

Happy New Year, Pet Peevers! 

We have taken a small hiatus during the latter half of December and had to shake off all the holiday and eggnog rust off to get things rollin' in 2022. Our first episode of 2022 is all about those pesky children. Having worked with kids for collectively over 20 years, having plenty of nieces and nephews, and having been annoying kids ourselves, we feel well-versed to tackle this subject. They may be our future, but kids can be super annoying at times, and we're here to release our peeves!

On this episode we discuss common phrases and how certain ones irritate us. Some phrases have been go-to's for people even though most people (generally) likely aren't aware of their meanings. We tackle general phrases that annoy us at first, and then we do a fun random phrase generator and discuss the phrase that pops up and give it our 'pet peeve or not a pet peeve' approval. We then finish with a challenge of phrases and test each other on their origins.
